The launch of Alchemy by ARAO X Joanique brought together kindred souls that share a love for finely crafted, soulful South Sea pearl jewellery.

Joined by select friends from media, Joanique Founder and Woman of Pearl Malou Araneta recalled cherished memories of healing and discovery from her trip to Peru. It was the very same South American sojourn that would later inspire the latest Alchemy by ARAO collection with Joanique.

AC+632’s Ricky Toledo and Chito Vijandre joined the intimate group gathered around Chef Sau’s table. The well-loved style duo have been retail partners of ARAO since the brand’s homecoming almost a year ago. They commented, “The arrival of ARAO in Manila has been well-received. Pieces in our store have been moving, and we are excited about this latest collection finding a home in AC+632.”

Animated, free flowing conversation resembling that of dear old friends made the luncheon a most welcome break from back-to-back events. Guests also couldn't resist the urge to try out their favourite pieces from the Alchemy by ARAO X Joanique collection. Many remarked that, “These pieces are even more beautiful in person, and perfect for a day to night look.”

The private dining room of Chef Sau’s Saw Saw Restaurant was filled with good energy all throughout the early afternoon hour. A bespoke menu, inspired by pearls, added to the pleasure of being among fellow dreamers and fine pieces of jewellery. It was a sunlight day, that reminded everyone to pause, enjoy the flavors of life, and dare to dream.
